A little bit of description about how to propagate a turtle wine in a Kokedama or a moss ball. to make a moss ball what you require is a medium such as 60 coco peat and 40 natural manga. If you do not have access to natural manure you can buy it online. First, to make a moss ball we have to take a small ball of the medium and press it hard if you’re not comfortable digging your hand inside the medium you can always use the gloves.
Once the medium is ready place it on top of moss spread the moss evenly and then place this medium on the moss. If you do not have access to the moss you can use coconut husk as well cover the moss nicely and tie this with a fishing line tie the fishing line tight and press the moss evenly on all sides now our moss ball is ready. you can see small nodules coming out roots coming out from knots.
So, all these knots will hold on to the moss and the plant will start propagating from all knots. Before cutting you have to use a very clean pair of scissors so that bacteria doesn’t grow on this. Next, keep plant cutting on this moss ball and cover it from all sides. So that it grows evenly use a fishing line and just tie a small thread around the monster do not tie the knot hard otherwise the soft wine will break
just make it a loose knot just for the plant to hold on to the moss. The kofitima moss ball is ready now you have to water this on a daily basis for at least one to two weeks till roots hold on to this boss ball it will take three to four months for this Kokedama to grow. In a Kokedama ball one of the most important thing that you should remember when you leave this plant outdoor is that direct sunlight should not fall on this plant.
