There are many reasons why it is tough for ladies to learn how to drive a car. Most important among them is unwanted anxiety and fear. This happens because of the lack of knowledge about the vehicle. So before learning one should have a basic understanding about a vehicle that they are going to learn and drive. This makes learning easier.
The first thing to learn is how to start and stop the vehicle. When we rotate the steering to the right the vehicle goes to the right and when rotated to the left of goes left. The engine of the vehicle is situated in the front. So the power of the engine goes to the front wheel and enable this movement. The back wheels works according to the activity of the front wheels.
An another important thing to understand before driving is the size of the vehicle. This helps in turning it. If the vehicle is long then we should turn part by part. First moving the front portion of the vehicle and then the back portion.
A vehicle is always laid upon a gear. Either is it on first gear or parked on reverse gear. There are 3 foot pedals for a car. Accelerator in the right , break in the middle and clutch in the left. It can be remembered as ABC. Accelerator is used to manage the speed, break is used to slow and stop the vehicle and clutch is used while shopping the vehicle.
We have to use our right leg to use break and accelerator and left leg to us clutch. About the gear , the central gear is the neutral gear.It is a free gear. Moving to the left and then to above is the first gear.Then to down is neutral gear. To the left and down is second gear and to the above is neutral gear. Keeping the gear liver in the center and moving forward is the third gear and to down is neutral and again down is fourth gear. Moving neutral gear to left and then to above is fifth gear and putting down is the reverse gear.
A vehicle parked will always be either on first gear or reverse gear.So when starting a vehicle place your leg on break and by placing leg on the clutch make the gear to neutral, then remove leg from break and start the vehicle by keeping leg in clutch.
