UAE grants permission for the travellers from India and other countries with a double dose of any established Covid Vaccine and a Residence Visa to enter the country from August 5th. Entrance of those that with a Visiting Visa is still restricted. Ministry Of Defense notifies that a study conducted by the Armed Forces Medical Services says that the Covishield Vaccines reduces the spread of the disease by 93% and decreases the death rates by 98%. Around 16 lakhs of health workers from the Armed Forces and the frontline covid fighters were examined under the study.
Ministry Of Health evaluates that the calculation of TRP rate of Kerala by dividing into categories like A B C D didn’t provided the expected results. The Central Government suggests to increase the number of RTPCR tests.It is not only enough to test those that with symptoms and the tests should be doubled at the clusters with high expansion of the disease were also recommended by the Ministry of Health.
At the same time under the anxiety of Third Wave, a reports shows an increase in the weekly analysis of the test positivity rate of 12 states of the country including Kerala.Around 50% of covid cases in the country is reported from Kerala.10 out of 18 districts of the country with a high RTPCR rate is from Kerala.
The Central Union Group comments that the sudden increase in the spread rate is not due to the exemptions allowed for Bakrid but by the failure occurred in the home islolation guidelines.

●Changes made in the Covid restrictions will be presented by the Cheif Minister in the next Assembly under Rule 300
●All the exemptions will come to effect from next week
●Determination of test positivity rate will be calculated according to the ratio of every 1000 test done and implementation of covid restrictions under the respected ward or a Local Self Government.
