A mixer is an appliance of everyday day use in every kitchen. Most of the food items comes through a mixie jar before that comes to our mouth. So it is necessary to keep the movie and jar clean always. Users find it difficult to clean the tougher parts like the bottom of a jar or inside the jar. Here are some useful ideas to keep your mixie clean.
Keep an old brush near the sink to clean the backside of the jars. It helps to reach the tougher parts and makes cleaning easier.After cleaning, if the jar have a small cap in its top, remove the cap and keep it inside the jar. This allows the air to pass through that helps to avoid unpleasant odours inside the jar.
The washer of a jar should be tight enough for the proper closing of the jar lids. If it is not tight , take two rubber bands and surround it around the washer in the lid. It will help the jar stay tight. Using a brush tk clean the inside of the mixie helps to clean it will. For this take a brush and slightly heat it and press it to a shape that seems like a semi circle. This helps to reach the brush all over and clean well.
If the jar have remaining smells of anything that we blended earlier, take some rice, put it in the jar and grind it well. Remove the rice powder and clean the jar with water. This vanish away all the odours. Another way to clean the backside of the jar is to put some baking soda and vinegar there and rest it for some time. Now clean it using a brush and wash well.
While we grind chillies or any other spicy ingredients in a mixie, removing it with our hands is a tougher as our hands starts to burn due to the spice and last for along time. To avoid this apply some coconut oil in your hands before touching the jar.
To remove stains between the blades and screws inside a jar, take an ear bud and apply some washing solution in it and scrub those parts well and wash it with water. Grinding some egg shells in the jar will sharpen the jar blades.To clean the body of the mixie, take some whit colour toothpaste in a brush, dip it in water and scrub through the surface well. Now wipe out the dirt using a cloth.
